[CREATE] DIY Acai Bowls
Back after a long weekend! I hope you had a great Labor Day! If you’re like me and need a little JOLT back into real life, I’ve got one for you!
If you can’t make it to your favorite juice bar to get your Acai bowl, then make your own at home! My friend Jeni shared this recipe with me and I love making my own at home.
Buy these Acai Berry Smoothie Packs from Costco, or wherever else you can find them. They come in packs of 10.
Blend one packet with 1/2 banana.
If you like your bowls on the sweet side, continue on. I like to add 1/4 cup raspberries so it’s not so sweet. Blend those in.
Add 1/4 c coconut water, or you could use almond milk.
Blend those 4 ingredients together, and you get the base of your bowl. Like an acai smoothie!
Then add your toppings! I like to put on top unsweetened cocunut,
The other half of my banana, and sometimes I add a scoop of peanut butter. It’s a bonus for protein and taste!
And then dig in, baby!!! YUMMMMMM!!!!!
